The 2nd call for research proposals in the ASSISTID programme is now open!
ASSISTID is an EU Marie Curie research programme coordinated by the DOCTRID Research Institute (www.doctrid.ie). The ASSISTID programme offers a unique opportunity for researchers from a variety of disciplines to submit an original research project in their area of interest around Assistive Technology for Intellectual Disability (ID) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). ASSISTID will fund a total of 40 researchers to undertake research and training in this area. Proposals should examine the role of Assistive Technology in improving social inclusion, independence, mobility, education or employment for people with ID or ASD. Projects do not have to be about developing a new app or gadget – they can examine policy, application of existing AT, assessment tools, social innovation brought about by AT. Applicants should have a PhD or relevant research/professional experience. Researchers from anywhere in the world are welcome to apply.
