Future of Transport: Addressing the Barriers through Innovative Solutions with the TRIPS Project – Part II

Online seminar on occasion of the Global Accessibility Awareness Day, #GAAD21
20 May 2021
organized by AAATE, supported by the TRIPS consortium

TRIPS is a 3-year European project that proposes to a co-design approach that allows people, disabled by inaccessible environments, to take the leading role in designing accessible and useable transport systems. By focusing on the experience and needs of disabled people, we aim to directly address a wide variety of barriers in current urban transport systems. This includes also barriers due to for example age, health, or language.

Our programme includes the presentation of first results of the TRIPS project, such as the Mobility Divide Index, reports from the co-design workshops, lessons learned and policy recommendations.

Join our online discussion with TRIPS project partners and policy makers to discuss next steps in making the future public transport in Europe and beyond, accessible and inclusive for all.
