DIG-i-READY, an EU project focused on improving digital inclusion in Vocational Education and Training (VET), draws to its close. AAATE is partner in the project and happy to participate in the final conference on 1^st December 2023 in Brussels.

Presented will be the Good Practice Catalog with an evaluation of practices and methodologies used by educators and schools in the field of VET during the COVID-19 pandemic to make digital education inclusive and accessible for people with disabilities. A second project output is the DIG-i-READY Handbook providing a digital competence framework, guidelines, a tool collection, recommendations for systemic change and local examples for inclusive VET.

The final conference will provide further training on digital inclusion in the education sector and focus on:

1. promising practices adopted by schools all over Europe to transition to online inclusive education; 
2. training on how to switch to online education in an inclusive manner;
3. discussions on a digital competence framework that can be used by educators to check their digital competency to teach online.
