AAATE2025 will host a wide range of Special Thematic Sessions (STS), offering a platform for sharing research and insights. Accepted STS submissions will be presented and published, with attendees selecting relevant STS during paper submission. Non-STS-related papers are also welcome.

Key STS themes include:

• Children & Education: Exploring robots for children, AT and children’s rights, inclusive education strategies using ICT and UDL, and the role of AI in inclusive higher education.
• Mobility & Inclusion: Focusing on mobility innovations, accessible navigation, and inclusive museums.
• Aging & Care: Addressing digitalization’s impact on aging, future care models, and AI in care ecosystems.
• AT Impact & Provision: Examining AT outcomes, effective provision models, and building AT capacity in low-income countries, along with data-driven AT ecosystems.
• Specific Technologies: Covering assistive robotics for visually impaired individuals, VR and serious games for neurodevelopmental disorders, and haptic/multimodal displays.
