Innovative Assistive Technologies and Accessibility in Higher Education

The workshop Innovative Assistive Technologies and Accessibility in Higher Education, organised at AGH University of Krakow in cooperation with the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe, will provide a space for the exchange of experiences, presentation of research, and innovative technological and organisational solutions supporting accessibility in higher education. The meeting will focus on the development of assistive technologies, the use of artificial intelligence in accessibility, and the organisation and planning of accessible education in line with the principles of universal design. The workshop programme will include keynote talks, panel discussions, paper and project presentations, as well as poster sessions. We invite people involved in research, design and the implementation of innovations in the field of assistive technologies and accessibility, including both experienced experts and young researchers, as well as designers, engineers, representatives of universities and public institutions, and persons with disabilities, to create together a space for dialogue and cooperation aimed at developing more accessible and inclusive higher education.
